The Solarstation Edition EU21 is the new addition to the SUNSHORE program.
The station, which is fitted with a LAING direct-current pump, can be run using the EU21 energy unit, which uses global radiation. The solar radiation steers the output of the pump via the specially fitted PV module. The rotational speed corresponds to the collector output and optimizes the heat yield. By the way, this system works totally independent of any power line i.e free of any external power source. The Station is eligble for BAFA sponsorship with a bonus currently amounting to 50 Euros.
Optionally, a SUNSHORE controller could be used to expand the system with interesting features such as the monitoring function, night heat-reservoir reloading function, pipes collector function, frost protection function etc. This combination in particular, offers a one-time highly innovative solar management
Sunshore vacuum-tube technology
The vacuum tubes also known as Sydney
tubes or Dewar tubes, as well as the whole system, are manufactured using
materials such as glass, aluminium, steel and insulants which are easily
available. All materials used are 100% reusable. The manufacture of vacuum
tubes is a hi-tech process. The production costs of these tubes have been maintained low however,
by million fold production and their excellent quality. The tubes are made out
of 3.3 Borosilicate glass. This type of glass has proved to possess magnificent
thermal properties and is extremely heat resistant. Protection from hail with
up to a corn size of 25mm is a guarantee.
SUNSHORE has over 1, 000,000 square metres of systems surface area in operation. The Vacuum tubes have been tested more then a million fold in practice.
Vacuum technology can be operated using pure water, as heat loss through these tubes is minimal. The use of expensive or environmentally critical solar fluids is thus unnecessary, as active frost protection can be installed. Installation is effortless and the process is mainly fed by energy generated from the system.
The Thermosiphon technology operates under a depressurised System allowing for simple series connection of collector arrays and storage tank systems covering 100m2 or more. The hydraulic connections are simple. This system is ideal in the production of warm water for industrial applications.
First class materials such as aluminium, steel and glass ensure a longer
product lifespan. Moveable components are not used in production, to avoid wearing out of the system.
The amortization period is shortened by the splendid price – performance relation, bringing with it immediate measurable economic advantages for the investor. The reward thereof is years of free energy!
SOLAR KEYMARK for Sunshore Collector
In August 2007, the Collector, Type 180 Model Q-B-J-0-3.9-90 80 was accredited the SOLARKEYMARK by DIN CERTCO. Prior to this, intensive testing had been carried out by the TÜV Rheinland.
In 2008, the entire collector series Type 180 was tested accordingly, and the SOLAR KEYMARK awarded to other models of this collector series type.
